this is one of 9 (so far) paper sheets that contains my Tokyo drawing.
I got the chance to use one of the laser cutters on my school, and just for the hell of it, I let it redraw my drawing. The process took approximately one hour.
The canvas in this case was a sheet of oak plywood, 3 mm thick.
I might very well come back to this technique when I have completed the drawing, as it can yield some very interesting results (cutting several layers of cityscape, and mounting it on top of each other in a frame of some sort. Making a 2D surface feel 3D, in a way.
